Agree, Agree, Agree. CMDR Malphator, captain of The Black Betty, also agrees.

Can't do nothing but join the 'agree' club.

Scooping fuel is very much like making love to a beautiful woman. First check the target is hot enough,
then approach slowly. Once close enough, pull out your scoop and fill her up. After you're done just
gently pull away, turn around and leave.

This is still rattling around in my head three hours later. Mostly 'cause I'm just loafing around today, not playing anything. Watching bullshit on Netflix and just taking it easy. Is CMDR Malphator, presently docked at Ahern Station in Tellus, doing something similar? Haha. Kicking back on-station, at some spacial equivalent of a roach motel, watching pay-per-view porn? It's possible. LOL

Due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding commander HAMM3R's recent financial situations he couldn't afford pay-per-view porn, although he would've very much liked it in his depressed state of mind. Instead he was stuck watching the local shopping channel at Sutcliffe Dock and ended up ordering some kind of an automated hair dye/dryer set eventhough he's bald.

Fantastic read, couldn't agree more as well.
I really liked this quote from him: "On your best day, you are Malcolm Reynolds on his worst. You are the truck driver, the foot soldier, the cartographer tucked away in his cabin, measuring latitudes and scribbling notes"

I'm really pissed-off at all these "new"* games (* for a past-middle-aged old fart) that put exclamation marks on every quest-dispensing NPCs and hand-hold players so they can breeze through content as quickly as possible (and then moan that there's nothing to do in "end-game")

I can't remember what I was going to say. It sucks getting old. I read this a few hours ago at work and there was a line that really caught my mind, but now I've just read it again, twice, and it's gone. I'm sure it must have been edited out. Oh well, I'm sure I was just going to say something snarky.

I gotta agree with just about everything that was said, and that's how I play the game. I do enjoy figuring things out for myself, to a degree - I'd prefer proper documentation to explain what everybody pilot in the future already knows. I'd never take advantage of exploits, to a degree - I wouldn't cheat, but I'll still sell my modules before selling my ship. And I don't want to have someone else play the game for me, so I have no interest in trading tools and etc.

I've been playing this game almost continuously for 3 months, and I expect to keep playing it because I really enjoy it. But I can't agree that this game is working perfectly for me. This game has the depth of the skin of an apple - well, maybe an orange rind. And every time I think of it, of how they released such an incomplete, undocumented, and buggy game, I get just a little pissed off.

Then I start playing and forget about everything else.
It's time to give this another go.
