Yep! I didn't seriously mind anyway, but see my updated post above - logging into Solo mode and flying around for a bit actually fixed the savegame.

I spent a few hours in the group this morning, no problems at all. Then had to the restart the game and now cannot seem to log into the group again (-> forever spinning Cobra loading screen). I can still log into Solo mode though, so it seems this is not the same bug I've encountered after B2 releas...
