A RES is a Resource Extraction Site. They exist in Ringed Planets which are moderately common among populated systems. I'm going to farming the RES sites at Iota Persei for a while. Just been and got about £750k in bounties for an hours work, probably the most lucrative hour I've had in the game so far not counting the Diso CG.

CMDR Sorbi Col here. The space was deliberate

joining here as the number of interdictions during the Diso Community event was mildly ridiculous. Love the game, just not some of the people playing it.
