Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Is the ranking still the same. I'm looking to try and up my federation rank (just did the first level the other day) in between doing the current cg's. I heard that the ranking was going to be changed so wasn't sure if this style of mission would still work as well? Anyone currently grinding through...

While it's a shame to not meet up with so many people from the states (some of whom were really nice) I can see this makes a lot of sense and the upsides are much bigger than the downsides for me.
