Landing Page

I think there should be a prominent landing page for the commanders who end up on the forum for the first time. Something like the original post of the group's thread on Frontier's forum. Something that says what this is about, how to join, what if you just did, and so on.
A closed thread stuck at the top of the board index would do nicely, IMHO.

I imagined it at the very top of the first level (as opposed to the top of a sub-forum) but that will do. Cheers.
