what do people think of the idea of a Conflict Zone Sub Forum?

Conflict Zones can be a bit tricky to find at times as there is no telling where they will pop up and how long they will lasts, with a conflict zone sub forum in the mercenaries section we would have a place to post when we find an active zone.

the reason for a sub forum dedicated to it is due to their transitory nature, having just one thread to post them in very quickly becomes a pain as the op either needs to constantly update the first post to list active zones, or readers have to dig though the thread and hope that when they arrive in system the CZ is still active.

with a sub forum on the other hand one post can be made about each CZ as its discovered, when they close the OP can flag the thread for a passing mod to close as well so that its easy to see what's active at a glance and wars that have ended very quickly sink without a trace, preventing them from cluttering up the first page.

Sounds like a sensible idea to me. I'll leave the decision to Wolf, but I'll make sure he sees your request.

Sounds good. The new Conflict Zones Forum is just beneath the Community goals forum. Let's see if it will be put to good use.

there is a CZ in the system i'm parked at (or there was when i logged out) I'll post the details once i've had a coffee and a chance to check its still active.
