Does anyone know of any other Elite forums where we could go to recruit?

There are already approx. 200 commanders in the Mobius PvE group, so they are of course obvious potential. Many don't know of this forum. I try to post regularly in the Mobius PvE group thread, to remind commanders to fly by here.

Just be careful not to come over too pushy. We don't want people to think badly of us and get on their nerves. We are an amiable bunch.

Well, that's putting me on the spot a bit...

I try to keep a friendly approach. Haven't heard anything bad yet, but who knows. I trust that you, my fellow commanders, will let me know if I go overboard?...

Should we have a contingent of recruiters then? I mean, I would happily go out and start spreading the word, but I don't know how many other members are doing so. I don't want to be the one that gets told off for swamping the board

To be honest, I have no idea. I am a little over-cautius sometimes (often), and I am always affraid of exaggerating stuff.
Right now, probably my fear of exaggerating is exaggerated.

I have no experience in marketing, and therefore don't know what is a do and what is a don't in advocating suff.
I would say, just use intuition and look what is already there is a good way to go for now. You know, what would you say if you would be facing the people your adressing. And then again, a subtle hint in the sig never hurts

It looks like so far nobody was disturbed and some even complimented us for strong advocates.

Awesome then. I will see what I can turn up, and hopefully (as Diablo said) other members can make me aware if I cross over the line.

I won't push people myself, just have my signature to show them this forum. Although the signature is a bit two high at the moment, I will narrow it soon...
