I am currently on the latest Nvidia drivers (353.62). I opened a ticket with Frontier and am still waiting to hear back. Every other game I have has been running great. I am able to open the launcher and log in, but as soon as I click the play button all I get after a few seconds is the Crash Reporter.

Anyone else running into this issue? Thanks

I had this issue before. I downloaded the launcher again and re-installed it. That fixed it for me. Seems that Win10 broke some link to the dotnet package required by the launcher.

Check in windows Turn windows features on and off and make sure that .Net framework 3.5 is checked and installed.

I opened up the Turn Windows Features On and Off box and the box is checked next to .Net Framework 3.5 but the two options are unchecked if I expand that section.

Those options are Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Activation and Windows Communication Foundation Non-HTTP Activation. Should I have those options checked as well? Thanks

Thanks, that's how mine looks too. I appreciate the help, but it looks like I'm going to have to wait for Frontier to hopefully get back to me.

The only other thing I can think of is that the Visual C++ Redistributal is not setup properly, or you don't have the right version (eg:year) of the VCRED installed. As a shot in the dark, here are the versions I have installed:

I am not sure which one you would need, I had to play around with mine to get iTunes to install. My system is 64 bit, so if yours is 32, it should narrow it down to 4 instead of 6.

So I went and downloaded the 2012 C++ Redistributal and now the game is starting at least! Still trying to iron out some kinks, but this seems to have been the problem.

Thank you so much!!!!!!

Your welcome. Why the installer does not give you a real error message saying "Hey you need this" is strange.

Glad to hear your up and running. Any other problems fire away.

I saw my first commercial for Win10 last night and I see they are still pushing the touchscreen aspect of it. That's enough for me to stay away, after my horrible ongoing experience with Win8/8.1 on my laptop. I wish they'd stop trying to make this all-in-one operating system and go back to desktop/laptop and tablet/phone versions. I'll stick with Win7 on my desktop machine.

I also don't like where they are apparently going with the online all-the-time, data collection, cloud computing ... who do they think they are - Frontier?

***Edit***
After posting this, maybe I should upgrade my laptop.
It's time to give this another go.
