Star ripper

Postby evovi » Mon Jan 11, 2016 6:31 pm

Just been perusing the site of the most expensive alpha release game ever..

I look at what David And his team have created and given us access to for a fraction of the cost, and the shop items we can buy are all accessible - completionist kit $18000 - KMA I'm not gonna be buying into a game where you can buy yourself where you wanna be! Money talks, or is that greed showing or... More fool the elitist jerks that will pay so much money for digital pixels and what nots just to have bragging rights about their collection

Frontier developments - good on ya, keep heading with the business model you have now! And the followers will stay loyal!

I'm happy with how Frontier has developed Elite, vs. that other game, but it may still have potential. More games in the field (which are higher much quality than typical mobile releases) will probably be a good thing for the genre, and hopefully bring more people to develop controller/accessory hardware and companion software for space games. I know I felt much better plunking down on a HOTAS knowing that I'd probably have another game to play on it in the future.

I've taken a few months break from Elite for other games before, but as long as there's something to do in Elite, I'll keep coming back.
