So there are no such things as fines anymore ??

And I was not targeting these ships.....But if it goes on damage....

Flying into 2 large and 2 medium beams is gonna do some serious shit......

Looks like I'll have to pay more attention......

There are still fines, for things like parking offences and "light" collisions in star ports, etc..., you can still pay off fines within 7 days (after 7 days they become bounties).

But doing "heavy" damage with weapons is a bounty offence, but it sounds like the 'friendly fire' mechanics still need a bit of balancing.

Well the upside is....With a bounty you get dickheads who try to claim it.....

Took down a wing of 4 Eagles.......

Then 3 vipers......

Then 4 Cobras.....

beta 3 now.......

Aligned to a powerplay character tonight......

Weird....Just transport diff stuff depending on what system.....Preparing a system...Expanding or fortifying........

Start at only 10 tonnes of stuff every half hour......

Looks like you can buy your next half hours allocation for 100,000 Crs......

I maxed it out and have done 100 tonnes which earns you 100 merits.....That's all I could do.....Sthg about upgrade allocation came up...I clicked on it but nothing happened......

Looks like the max allocation of units (They are called sthg else) when you reach the top....Rank 5 is 50 per 1/2 hour.....

And there is something about a weekly basis......Merits carried over from last week etc.....

So not sure if you can only do so much one week and then can flit off an do want you wanna do and then return the next week....Do a bit more......Rinse and repeat......

There looks a lot more to it than that.......Like spending CC's on what you want....Nominating systems etc......

Still trying to fathom it all out......Not sure if I like it or not.........Don't really like being pledged to a person.....

Don't really like being asked to think too much.......

I haven't experienced fines or bounties yet, but I've got a fight with a few NPC's in RES or during interdictions, and I like their improvement. Makes them more challenging.

I didn't give PP more than a quick look, so I don't have an opinion about it yet. BTW, Kharma, have you got this Beta Powerplay Help.pdf?

Can you double check the Headquarters for the the 4 Imperial PP Characters? I am thinking my list I made based on some pics posted to reddit may be off.

I have just read the 'help' document and I am so confused! Having looked at the system in game it makes little sense to me there either. So much of it seems arbitrary, like that there seem to be 'turns' like it is a RPG but this is a twitch game, things happen in real time. I just don't get it :( maybe I am simply thick :P

You're not the only one then. I've read through it more than once and decided (very selfishly) to wait till it's in the wild and then do what other people do. It's a way of living life that works sometimes :D

I'm still testing stuff, but in terms of the PP components I'm struggling to work out what 'should' happen which makes it a little harder.

The fact they need such a large document to try to explain it makes me think that it's indeed way too complex. And I'm with you on the turn-based model, smartroad.
