I am warming to the CQC idea. I read on Frontiers forum (I think or it may have been another newsletter) that CQC will be playable where ever you are, even deep space. In the lore of the E: D universe there was a Galnet about sims - would it be better that this is something that is activated from your cockpit options rather than having to go to the main menu? Kinda keeps it all 'in game' rather then being an extra to satisfy the pewpew crowd (not that I have an issue with the pewpew crowd mind you 
)

I've got the impression that it will be another launch option, similar to the tutorials. May be wrong, though.
