From what I have seen as far as specs on screen, it is now the fastest ship in the game now. At least boost speed. It has a much lower agility than the regular eagle, but the speed should make up for it.

The one question I have: Is CQC a complete seperate mode, or can it be chosen as CQC in Mobius Only? Or is it a seperate mode that is based on All the players? I would prefer if we could choose either Fully Open to everyone, or from Within a Group.


Can you imagine if we can within group have our own Championships? OMG, I would so love to be able to do that in group with other Mobius members and be on TS and laughing as I died Over and Over. The Mobius Games! Winner gets Cake! (Thats a lie, winner gets nothing:))

I just watched two videos with the Imperial Eagle. I am so getting that ship. I don't care if its small. It looks great, sounds amazing and is a true Boom n Zoom ship. A rated its almost 425 boost speed.

Absolutely! We will introduce new Subforums for that and have a little adjustment to our policy to show that CQC is the part where you can shoot at everybody with pleasure! ;)
Our special flavour to CQC will be that we will always be polite to our victims! ;)
We strive to be the friendliest place in the galaxy to be shot at! :D

Just as a quick note, when Betas or any other Hot Topic is on the main FD Forum, sometimes it can become a nightmare to wade through the Kazillion of posts to see what the Devs are saying about what is happening.

Remember that you can use the Elite Forums Tracker site to see all the Dev posts in one day sorted by time, and can click on them to see the context in the particular thread. Handy to see the trees through the forest. :)
