I agree with some of the above about the name - it hints of a hierarchy which the group does not have. The other meanings of agents (like spy, for example) are also not very appropriate either IMHO.

things are starting to progress. this is where I would like to involve the community,

registering our player faction begins, what I would like to see is some more suggestions from you.

Name of group: Mobius
Name of minor faction: Agents of Mobius . unless something better comes along?
Type: (e.g Democracy, Criminal etc) Cooperative
Description: The Agents of Mobius strictly uphold the basic tenet of zero tolerance of aggressive acts to their members. Any Agent found in violation of these rules is immediately banned and handed over to the Pilot's Federation for appropriate bounty punishment.

However, the Agent's zero tolerance policy does not stop with their own members, and the group takes a very dim view of any acts of aggression to members of the wider Pilot's Federation, aggressively hunting down non-Pilot's Federation pirates and murderers across inhabited space.

Like the Pilot's Federation, the Agents of Mobius are strictly neutral when it comes to galactic politics and it pilots can often be found helping out systems in need, and fighting as mercenaries regardless of the alliance of the system.

I really like your description. But like others already pointed out it contradicts itself in places. If you could leave out the aggressive part, or maybe the whole second paragraph that would be much better.

We frown upon aggressors, we don't hunt them I'd say.

Good points, I've taken out the second paragraph, along with changing Agents to Order as that seems to be the way we are going (which works for me).

2 points I will bring up.

1: I do believe that the name Agents of Mobius has already been chosen in a previous thread, and has already been submitted by Mobius to Frontier and has been locked in. It is therefore, not part of the debate.

Update: I noticed that in the first post Mobius mentions it is not written in stone yet, so I retract point 1 above.

2: The topic of Slavery is a mute point. It exists in game, and however YOU want to play it, you can. As we will be an independent faction, we should hold no opinion on the topic, because doing so limits what players can and cannot do. you have your own convictions, please play by them, but do not expect others to abide by them or limit them.

There should be NO limitation on how a person plays this game put forth by the Mobius group/Agents of Mobius or any member. We have a current rule set which is what brings us together, and that is the ONLY rules that this faction should be promoting in the game. All other choices are up to us.

We have a Rule of No PvP (except in a conflict zone) in the group by which we abide by when we join, but that does not and will not keep any of us from going into Open or another group to do PvP outside of the group.

Lets get back to the question at hand: Mobius wants our input on:

Lets save the debate on other topics for other threads and get these details so Mobius can conclude the information required by Frontier and we can get our In Game Faction in operation as soon as possible.

And believe me, we can have a LOT of debate on the other topics, after all there have been literally tens of thousands of messages debating a single topic open vs. solo over there, I am sure we can get up to that amount if we try!

I agree with this. I think the other points come kind of naturally out of deciding a type and description, but we should intentionally avoid them so as not to narrow the scope of the group.

I just wanted to peek in from the Bacon Cats and wish everybody well with developing this. A lot of us are working on our own CGs, faction development and fluff, but if we can be of any help in pushing story or in-game assets for Mobius I'm quite sure we'll do everything in our power to assist.
