After a short server downtime earlier today, the Mac Version is live and available to download via the
Elite: Dangerous Store.

There are also some minor fixes:
Edward Lewis wrote:Hi everyone,

The Galaxy servers will be going down at 10am for up-to one hour. This will allow us to bring the Mac players over to the live servers. Thanks for your patience!

After that, Elite: Dangerous for Mac will be available to download on our store, and purchase through Steam.

Thanks everyone.

See you in space CMDRs.

Edit: change-log below:

· Further optimisations
· Various improvements to OpenGL shadow generation
· Fix for how we handle unsupported languages
· Better PlayStation 3 controller support

Laugh if you want, but this makes me one step closer to switching to a Mac.

I for one welcome our new OSX overlords.

Well, the HOTAS makers don't have the software for Mac yet. So you can only use the basic features, not programming them.

That being said I use Windows for gaming only and Macs for everything else (except at work where I use Unix), and this isn't about to change!
