And I'm sitting here waiting for Christmas
(because I don't have the money to buy this
)Well I'ma just watch all the Videos that will come out with season 2 / 1.5 update
Also quick question(if it is allowed here):
What can I do to rank up very fast in Rank for the Imperial Navy(I'm very interested in the new Cutter)
Money wouldn't be a problem(If there is a way to rank up with money)

Go to an Empire system and run missions for the Empire aligned minor factions, try to avoid killing anything that belongs to the factions you are running missions for. When you are in the mission screen (the one where you accept or decline) it shows the effect on your reputation, go for the High ones - generally kill missions. You can also do the charity missions where you just hand over money as these are also high.
Remember to only do missions for the Empire factions. You can improve the spawn rate for missions by switching between play modes (Open, Private, Solo), this allows you to stack missions (a mission taken in one mode can be completed in any mode).

Fehu was good for empire ranks and making a buttload of credits at the same time. But I fear they are nerfing long range cargo missions with 1.5 again.
I think there might be a donation system but I don't remember the name.
At least we will be getting progress bars for ranking now

Don’t expect to rank up very fast, though. My last Federal progression (from Lieutenant to Lt Commander) took about 30 game hours using the method Xebeth describes. And the higher you get, the longer it takes.

I'm currently at Tamar(Station Gould Port).
This Station seems to have 2 to 3 donation missions for the Empire
The rank up missions are weird though. Telling me to kill the Leaders of X in System Y even if that faction isn't in System Y

Missions are randomly generated, the system seems to just use the local systems as locations, there isn't actually a tie-in to the faction. Also, ranking missions are for the Major faction (Empire) not the local faction anyway.

It will keep spawning progression missions until you’ve passed, too. So wait until you get one that suits you.

I found what seems to be the problem with the rank up missions.
The Mission description states that I have to go to System x to kill
Faction Y to state an example because they paid money to get false information.
Now my guess is that this is just a translation error for my Language since I found a
NPC ship with the same name as the faction I had to find andafter I killed that ship the mission got updated so I could return and hand in the mission(and rank up)
EDIT: 9 rank ups left to Duke
