I wonder if I have beta access. I know that I did for 2.0 and 2.1, though I didn't get to play much of 2.0, and I missed 2.1.

If you bought beta access with 2.0 you bought it for the full season.
So 2.0 through 2.4.

I'll also remind you, the beta servers runs on a seperate commander save (they normally use the latest backup, so say you get a promotion on Sunday you probably won't have it in beta.)
Its also means if you are sitting on beagle you can suicide to get back without losing anything for real.

Just make REALLY REALLY SUPER MEGA certain you are in beta before you hit that button..

Also the last few beta roll outs have been a bit bumpy, I would not take tuesday off to play.
You will more than likely spend most of it refreshing the launcher.

Rather take the significant other out or something to get you some points.
You will need them the next couple weeks

I think I'm going to get in on this. I'm playing ED almost exclusively now and say..$9.00 US isn't really a bad deal.

There's a rather, shall we say "lively", discussion about this over at the official forums. You would think that Frontier is robbing the world blind by charging for beta access.

It was well worth it for 2.0's beta. Getting to try new features, die a few times, and not lose shit in the main game.. it was fantastic.
