If it supports VR, this may just make me finally buy another console. The last console I owned was a Used Modded PS2. Before that, SNES.

Excellent news. They hint at launches on PS4 and PS4 PRO, which makes me suspect that the Pro will be recommended for E: D in PSVR. It makes sense.
So, second quarter 2017. I will be a very exciting year for E: D and Sony Playstation. And uz!

Second quarter. Often the releases are towards the end of the 'window' so we could be looking at near the middle of next year. Also note it says Horizons. Given there would be very little point releasing close to a version upgrade does this then mean we are looking at season 3 no earlier than Q3 (maybe even Q4) next year?

The Xbox universe is separate from PC version, I'm sure PS4 will be too. But I wonder if Xbox and PS4 players can play in the same universe.. If I had to guess, I'd say no.

all three affect the same universe. but in different instances for now as i heard

Ugh! Say it ain't so!
I hope they just haven't figured out what they are calling season 3 yet.

It's about time for that too. PS4 at least has HOTAS controllers available, though not nearly to the level of sophistication as on PC. No voice attack either.
At least we all can celebrate that millions of people will have an opportunity to try a beloved game. All they know is No Man's Sky, so they have to be ready for something far more immersive by now, right?

You can sit on the couch with a controller now.
Why buy another account, not to mention the console, just for ED on PS4 VR? To get 120Hz out of a console, I bet they really need to dumb down the graphics, gameplay, or both.
I'm curious to see what it would look like, but not at that cost.
