Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Have you been inside of a black hole recently? No? Well.... let me help you with that.

Here's a 3:13 video of my Asp going inside of a black hole.

About 50 seconds in, I start getting sucked into the back hole.

Then some maneuvering around to see some lensing effect.

At 2:40 it was time to get the hell out.

There wasn't a lot of vibrant colors in nearby systems to get the vivid colors that I've seen in other black holes, but it was still pretty cool.

There is a black hole inside a nebula in Maia 500 or so ly from bubble (where the mobile station ignore being built).

Although I find it a little disappointing how that doesn't kill you outright.

Damn you! For a moment there, you'd got me thinking FD had actually done away with the exclusion zones.

It was hugely disappointing encountering my first black hole as i'd planned it and headed there in an eagle (Lots of jumps!), with the intent of flying in and dying. Only to find FD had denied me my glorious death and replaced it with a pointless sytem power down in disgust.

Nice vids though. I love the effects, just wish FD had done more with them.

That use to be the case right?
I read it was changed around 1.2 due to complaints about dying when getting to close to a black hole
