Yes I believe so. I crashed to desktop whilst there and i rejoined in a different instance; as the previous one we'd shot them to pieces but on my rejoin they were back. So I guess so.
Thanks to CMDR Schmitt for leading me to them as I was just orbiting wondering wtf for a while. Trying to figure out how to use the coords.

Edit: wasn't that your asp OP that parked itself at a jaunty angle mid air and dropped your scarab from about 50ft?

They do indeed, all of them had grown back this morning. Also, if you want meta-alloys you need to shoot the ones that are 'ripe', otherwise you just get ordinary materials.

Not me no, I had the park in the air bug else where, but didn't drop my buggy.

I’ve seen that too. When you join a new instance, the barnacle appears and remains brand new. But if you join an occupied instance, it immediately updates to the state the commanders in the instance put it, and that results in those simultaneous explosions. But you’re the only one to see it. For those already present already, it already happened.
