Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I put together a couple of videos from Saturday's escapades in the Haz-RES with Commander Phillipus.

You would think that two reasonably skilled commanders would have plenty of room in the RES to work their target without making contact. But.... it ain't so.

This series of short clips shows the magnetic attraction of my Vette and Phillipus' Cutter (the last clip has his Vette). I don't know why, but winged commanders always seem to want to be in the same space.

This video is uncut and from when we took on a wing of 5 small ships. Yeah sure, it was just a DBS and 4 Vipers, but it was FUN! We turned them all to space dust in under 2:25.

Ha! Interesting to see it from another point of view. The thing with the Cutter is that with its bulk and shields you don't really notice when you get pranged. But, yeah, winging up in a Haz RES is a whole lot of fun. And the Cutter brings with it a whole bunch of interesting challenges, particularly turning it when you've got a few small ships on your back.

CMDR D'Hawk winged up with JohnLuke and I to form the Wing of Death - 2 Corvettes and a Cutter. I started to feel sorry for the NPCs....except for that one time when 12 Cobras spawned and all turned red at the same time...

Yup, I almost felt sorry for the NPC's fighting against a wing of 2 Corvettes and a Clipper.

Well..... not really.

I think I might have to try a beam/plasma outfit on the vette again.
