I'm surprised that he didn't use synthesis to repair his SRV, it's pretty instant.

If you read through the comments it turns out he does SRV Buggy runs for EliteRacers......
They are not allowed to repair...So basically he forgot he could.....

That's understandable, I've forgotten then number of times my life in ED would be easier if I could remember the little things at the right times.

That was very nice.
I had been wondering the same thing, but this makes sense.
I'm a little surprised he wasn't more tempted to turn around and take on the Anaconda after its shields went down and its hull was at 64%.
