Description:

A company based in Alpha Centauri is producing commemorative mugs for those who complete the so-called 'Hutton run' - the 0.22 light-year trek from the system's star to Hutton Orbital. The mugs, which bear the legend 'I made it to Hutton Orbital', are made from Scrap material, and the company is in need of additional material with which to produce their next batch. To help with this effort, the Alpha Centauri Freedom Party is offering a series of incentives to pilots who deliver Scrap to Hutton Orbital until such time as targets have been met.

Edit: Just accidentally deactivated FSD while on supercruise in the modules panel. I am filled with regret.

By the way, Hutton orbital is an outpost so be carrefull, you can't dock there with a big ship

Is this an actual community goal that gives us stuff?

It just allows us to purchase a new rare good called The Hutton Mug. Doing this will net you a badge of regret and sorrow.

How long of a haul is it from drop in to the station? I'm thinking about going full regret mode and jumping into this event all weekend (I got a lot of movies i need to catch up on)

If I remember correctly it is around 45 minutes to get from the nav beacon to Hutton Orbital.

Though...it's been a while since I've done it.

i've done it with my t-6 and it took me 1 hours, i think i'll make a few more run but it's really boring and i've just a few movies at home
