Pirates Continue to Target Refugees

Reports continue to pour in from the Amitrite system of pirates targeting refugees fleeing the war-torn Pegasi sector. The refugee transports have been stopping in Amitrite to refuel while travelling to a resettlement centre in the Munshin system, leaving them open to attack.
In an effort to protect the refugees, the Imperial Navy and the Defence Force of Amitrite have issued bounties on the pirates, hoping this will encourage independent pilots to help to alleviate the problem. For those with combat experience, there is money to be made in Amitrite.

oh good-o, Amitrite is probably close to my base in Maityan, seeing as Munshin is nearby. might take a trip over to help out. thanks for the heads up

---> there's only one RES in this system that i can see, and it's orbiting a brown dwarf so you want to stay away from that. plenty of LIRES and HIRES though, if you're happy just killing sidewinders and eagles. i tried earning an empire bounty in a neighbouring system and handing that in, but it wasn't accepted - so it looks like it's nothing but sidewinders and eagles for the next day or so. crap. lies, all lies

------> ok disregard that bit about sidewinders and eagles, i just had a magic HIRES spawn loaded with clippers, pythons, dropships and even an elite asp - it has been months since i've seen an elite pirate in a res. i made over 1.2 mil in the space of around 15 minutes but then suddenly they all dried up and only miners were left. the high point was a 180k python, i don't usually see those bounty amounts in a res

Hit both RES last night, only made about 300000 in an hour and a half, almost felt slightly guilty killing a wing of three Sidewinders, 300cr each! Glad to hear there's the potential for better targets now. Trying to get on tonight, Family, and Rugby allowing! Drunk flying anyone?

yeah i gave up after about 2.5 hours, it took me that long to make my 1 million (refused to leave with less than a mil)

it seems my magic spawn with Dropships and Pythons yesterday was just that - magic. since then nothing else has come close, i've only seen Adders and Eagles and other tiny insects

Very few pirates yesterday evening, but tons of players (in open). I quit after one hour with just cr 53.000. An all time low.

Stupid battle pumped trigger finger!!!! Just got a 6K3 bounty for 'accidentally' murdering someone. They were actually wanted but I pulled the trigger before the scan had totally finished That's me out of being able to help now for 5 days until the bounty expires

6K3 or 6.3K or 6300. K just represents the decimal point and signifies the the denomination
