Cmdr Darcanis here, from Moncton NB, Canada.

I've never played Elite before, but played the Wing Commander series and various other space sims.
Was enjoying myself in Open Play, but after getting shot up on a landing pad for no reason and barely escaping intact I posted my experience over on Elite forums and was directed here. That was yesterday and today I am a happy member of your group!

I enjoy the odd PvP, but prefer PvE way more. Happily with Elite our Character carries over no matter if we play group, solo, or open so I will mostly play here and occasionally pop over to Open to hunt bounties later on once I can afford the gear. I'd say my enjoyment is 99% PvE 1% PvP. So very rare really for me to want to subject myself to random idiots who are willing to be destroyed by station security just to annoy other players. lol

It's great to be in a group where that won't (or extreme rare, as one or two might slip through the cracks) happen.

Been playing Elite back in 1984 on an Amstrad CPC 464 for many hours, now enjoying E:D ... a lot! My preference is combat, mostly bountyhunting and assassinations, and hopefully with the Wings update I will offer a bodyguard service to Traders. Right now I'm working my way towards a Python to add to my shipyard of Cobra Viper Type-6, in an Empire system near you. Fly safe ! o7
