Very happy to have found this forum and the Mobius group (i'll apply for membership in-game tonight). I'm a big science fiction fan, from Battlestar Galactica (orginal and remake) through Star Wars, Star Trek and generally anything focused around space of a certain quality
This game is like a boyhood dream come true and i am totally enjoying it!!
I'm mainly an explorer (currently returning from a 4-week expedition, only around 1200 ly to go before I am home). I also enjoy trading, doing missions and generally hopping around in my ship, enjoying the amazing world FD has created so far and thoroughly looking forward to what is still to come!!
I hope this group can offer some nice social interaction with other commanders. I freely admit that I am what is called in other forums a 'care-bear' - I have little or no experience with the combat aspects of the game (although I plan to learn the basic skills cause I want to experience all aspects - I just haven't gotten around to it yet LOL).
