I've already seen where certain RES spots post 1.3 are still doing well for my eventual upgrade to an Eagle
also where good RES spots are for say an Adder mining
and of course, with eliteraretrader, reddit and here, I have about 200+ routes to try out for rare trading and even general goods.

doesn't mean WE can't find more. O7

Even at a Nav Beacon with a bit of luck we would probably make enough credits for you to buy an Eagle in an hour or so. : )

Which is just an added bonus, because the real fun is just blowing up pirates with friends in a wing .

I'm sure any number of our forum comrades or my buddies from the Fusang system would be more than happy to come blow stuff up if they're around.

I'll very likely be around this evening, or for at least a little bit most weekday evenings. We'll see you out in the black.

I'm just about to get online right now. Basically like I said in my first post, about 1400 - 2200 Az time (-7 during daylight savings, -6 during the winter) I'll be on. I may get on more often than that, but that's my plan for now at least.

I'll see if I've gotten the hang of "adding friends" in the game. I understand it's before you actually load "start" right? Still learning some of the basics, but hey, at least I can land, and hopefully hold my own in combat. That, and yes, I'd love an Eagle

Hi Badger. I see that you referenced Arizona time.... so I assume you live in AZ? I do too!

I am a casual player, and don't get a lot of stick time during the week. I am on during the weekends VERY early AM... 2:00-5:00 AM and in the afternoons, usually around 1:00-4:00. I occasionally play during the week in the afternoons, 3:00-4:00PM. (I work an early morning shift, hence the odd gaming hours. I have done a fair amount of wing bounty hunting with Boxcar.... and more importantly.... Red.

I would be happy and honored to team up with you and kill some baddies. Feel free to add me to your in-game friends list, unless I beat you to it when I get on later today.

I won't be combat ready for a couple of days, as my new X-52 Pro HOTAS just arrived 30 minutes ago, but maybe over the weekend? My DB Scout has a GREAT jump range, and I'd be happy to come by and help you get some kills and credits.

that's awesome you're in Arizona too! It's pretty cool you, me, and Boxcar are close to each other... or more importantly, we're closer to Red!

as far as your X-52 Pro HOTAS, if you need any help with mapping the thing, I know they can be a bit intimidating, I'd be happy to help. I decided to go with two joysticks instead of joystick and throttle in this game, but I'm pretty familiar with more traditional HOTAS setups.

Right now in the game, minus the little SNAFU I'm having with utilities, everything is on my two sticks. I only use the keyboard to type, and the mouse to navigate the galaxy map.

The good news on my end is it seems my system has finally stopped updating... I just installed a new OS two days ago. I had about 250 some-odd updates a day that was hindering my time getting into the game before 6pm. Now, I'll be starting to get on about when I want to, right around 2 or 3 in the afternoon!

Flip, for what it's worth lol, Boxcar and I met this guy out at some random port while we were running some trading. He was all excited about others actually being "social" so I told him to check this place out O7
