Fairly new to the game, and learned about the group via a Youtube tutorial series. Hopefully I'll have a good time and make some friends here. Also I would love to know a nice place to farm weak npc pirates so I can finally get out of a Sidewinder. The strong ones keep blowing me up

Greetings and welcome to Mobius, Commander Cal Dorath.

Regarding easy pirate kills, I would recommend trying the Nav Beacon at most (if not all) systems. There will be some clean and some wanted ships going through there, and you'll most likely find some smaller ships that your Sidie can take out without too much trouble.

Also, if you make you way to our home system of Azrael (or least least within 50-70ly of it) you'll find many commanders to wing up with. I would be happy to wing with you myself to gain you some credits in combat. Feel free to add me to your in game friends list if you want to.

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.
