Hello all,

Doc here, CMDR DOOL1TTL3 in game. Can't tell you all how happy I was to actually find a supported group of PVE'ers.

Anyway - I not new to ED as I played the beta for a while and stopped after the last stats wipe. I just recently picked it up again and bit the bullet for the Horizons season pass. I was surprised to find the two new ships as gifts after rejoining (Eagle and Viper MKIV). So thank you to the Elite Community and FD!

Out of curiosity - when I played in the beta, I found trading to be the money maker in game. Lately however, I've been running missions in my Viper. Not that I'm complaining, but is trading still viable in ED? I've been saving for the Lakon type 6 and mission running still appears to be more profitable.

Glad you found us.

Trade routes are solid and predictable money makers, where missions are more of a crap shoot. I'd say that if you are having fun running missions (one of my favorite things in the game) and are making the money you want, then stick with it!

Please feel free to add your name to one of our 'In game friends lists'

and check out our TeamSpeak servers or Discord (voice and text chat) servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.
