Hi I just learned about this forum. My ingame name is Carlton Mann, I answer to the name of Carl. Carlton, etc. You can call me anything you like just not late for dinner. I will state that I have some mental health issues that cause me not able to work according to the US government.

I like radiosidewinder, Hutton Orbital Radio, and Lave Radio. I am enjoying the fan fiction drama of Escape Velocity and I have aspirations one day to do something similar, as I enjoy radio drama. But at the same time I don't want to, mainly because I don't want to be accused of copying someone else.

I like to have fun with different people, I am an officer of sorts in another gaming group that doesn't play Elite: Dangerous. They are more geared towards Star Citizen and they have been people I have flown with since my EVE Online days.

I like PvE, I also like Fleet based PVP. I would rather do PvE, but if I am fleeted with someone and another player attacks the fleet. I will defend whatever fleet I am in. System defense and fleet defense are my preferred methods of PVP. I played CQC in 1.4 open beta. I enjoyed it, I am just not very good at it. If you don't like people that PVP, that's cool there is nothing saying we have to play together. I would like to state not everyone that enjoys PVP likes griefing or piracy.

I switch between a controller and a flight stick depending on how I want to fly. Usually I use a controller, due to my laptop always being hooked up to the tv as a monitor. I play on a laptop, I have no performance issues. I have been playing since april, but I have deleted my save and restarted multiple times. When 1.4 went live that was the last time I deleted my save and do not plan to do so anytime soon.

I am a quiet person, I am a man of few words. I will talk on teamspeak, but usually only when I need to. At first, until I feel comfortable around others. Pleased to meet you, oh and if you haven't figured it out yet. I am a fan of the Rolling Stones.
