Hi all,

CMDR AMON here checking in from the UK. I decided to join this community after being victim to griefers ramming my ship nearly every time I dock in open play. I have experienced some very helpful players online, but a minority sadly spoil the experience.

I have played the game since launch day and backed the game before release. I love to explore and work towards community goals, my favourite event in the game so far being the hunt for alien ruins with lots of other explorers.

Hi all. Kel the Stampede in game.

I'm a fairly long time Elite solo player since Beta. I've never killed a commander, and only intentionally shot at one once. Pretty good record I think.

Looking to get into multi-crew and more wing action so I can shoot NPCs a bit faster and harder.

Tried open and was immediately being shot at by ships that were either pathetically small or absurdly powerful. At least the little guy had an excuse as he had just caught one of my near misses.

I'm Wm. "Husker" Adama in game, only played a couple hours so far. I've never been much of an online gamer because I get really frustrated when my already-limited gaming time is spoiled by somebody who kills me just for kicks; so I was super excited to find a community dedicated to PvE.

Hi all.
Played Elite in the 80's....!
Loving ED and play in Open all the time and with rarely any issues but have now been attacked three times by Clippers in Engineer systems.
Just for fun I guess.
I think the game has no real mechanism to deter such attacks - I don't mind the idea of being pirated but there needs to be some risk to the attackers.
So heard about Mobius and look forward to getting the acceptance so I can play in here..mostly on the BGS turning systems to the Alliance (The Friends of Varramool march on!)...cheers

CMDR_bocan here. This is my fourth or fifth go at ED having been at it since alpha. I've found it a bit difficult to get started in the game, and that's largely due to my lack of patience as I get older, I'm sure. I heard about Mobius through a "Getting Started" thread (imagine that) and it sounded like the type of group I might get on well with.

I'm primarily a solo player - I don't have much free time to play, or at least not on a regular basis. I'm a very casual, friendly player, willing to help out ... though not sure how much help I can be as a rank amateur.

Hi y'all,

my CMDR name is Audaxx68, I am from Germany and 48 years old. I played the first Elite on my C64 (without a handbook, without google or YouTube... well, most of you will probably remember those times). I also own the game for PC, but now I am here with the PS4 version. I came here because I believe that fun should always be mutual. If I play an online shooter, I know what I get and I can have fun without having to worry how the other players feel about my actions. In games like EVE or E:D however, where there are hard-earned values at stake, I wouldn't feel good with destroying a commander's ship just for my own fun, because I wouldn't want that for myself.

But solo game is soooo lonely... so I'm really looking forward to play with a lot of other players who enjoy waving at me more than shooting at me...

I've been playing ED on the PC for nearly two months now and purchased Horizons a week ago, so I'm fairly new. I live in a small town in Saxony, Germany near the Czech border.
I joined Mobius because I was always not sure wether to play in Open Play, because I didn't want my ship get destroyed by a random guy in an Anaconda I have no real "favourite" activity in ED, but I always enjoy a bit of trading and exploring.
