Hello all, CMDR BitterMongoose here, a nick I've had in one form or another since playing the original on the BBC all those years ago! Missed the Frontier games but been playing ED off and on since a few days before Beta 2 arrived.

IRL Dave, a software developer up in Lancashire, with limited time for gaming as it is, let alone multiplayer (last multiplayer I played regularly was the original Counterstrike on dial-up back in about 2002....) so a PvE group where I can happily trade, explore, mine and bounty hunt the NPCs in a galaxy with like-minded others and without grief is mightily appealing. From Freagle beginnings, currently in a Cobra building a credit balance for a Type 6, trading out of the Granthaimi system with occasional tourist trips back to Sol!

Hello everybody!

Andy here. I was born four days after the first manned space mission and I'm still irritated that I missed it. I played on 'MUD' at Essex University back in 1980. I wandered about for about a minute and then got flattened by 'Shadow the Necromancer' which set the tone for all my future PvP performances.

My forum handle is the global name I used in 'City of Heroes', which I would be certainly still playing had it not been shut down 2 years ago for not making enough money.

My Commander is 'J L Finch' and is a nod to the protagonist of 'To kill a mockingbird'- Jean Louise 'Scout' Finch.

Howdy, been playing beta but now its out and I reckon its time for some socializing =) I totally suck at games but I am just an ol gamer at heart so I don't give up. Even after all these months playing still have no idea what im doing but I enjoy the hell outta space stuff so still having fun! Did a group request in game, i guess thats how you do it, hell I dunno but hey good to be here!
