Hello Commanders! Here is Ratcatcher (RAT-CATCHER in-game) reporting for duty! Call me if rodents pirated your neighborhood or bugs infested some station. I'll do my best to help those in need. I work mostly in Her Majesty systems.

My first days in ED were about 5 years ago. Soon I had my shiny new AspX and was visiting Felicity Farseer to use her help with FSD for exploring. I still do not understand what fun that pilot had when he was shooting me (an ubernob) down? Then two more guys convinced me that (sadly) Solo is my place. I had my break-ups and reunions with E:D as playing solo is well... solo. Eventually I found out about Mobius and dared to join. In fact it was some months ago but I had to postpone playing till June due to life.

I prefer to have fun and enjoy this beautiful game with real people rather than clash with them in pvp. This is something I couldn't dream of when I was playing Elite2 in 90's. Summing up: thank you for making and running this group!

Greetings commanders! I'm Inutt, looking for some other players that don't have a shoot first, don't bother asking questions later, policy

I like the idea of playing in open, but I think my reasons for wanting to join a PvE group can be summed up by my last three contacts with other players in that mode:
1. Heading to an engineer with my near-unarmed exploration ship, shot down in seconds without so much as a greeting or a demand for cargo
2. Heading to an.. well, it went exactly the same as 1
3. Landing at a settlement I saw another commander that wasn't shooting at me for once. Sent a greeting over comm, got back an insult about my choice of weapons and presumably got blocked as I couldn't reply.

I've been playing in solo for community goals recently and watching the system chatter about gankers around (and inside) the target stations. So yeah, it'd just be kind of nice to see someone on the scanner without exploding ten seconds later.

Outside of the recent absurdly well paid community goals I can usually be found hanging around asteroid fields collecting shiny rocks, careening widly around a planet's surface in an SRV, or wandering around settlements on foot trying to figure out what I can do there. Been thinking about doing more exploration recently, and I've always wanted to visit Colonia.

Howdy, Commanders! russjr08 here, checking in o7 and appreciate the acceptance into the Mobius PvE group!

I joined in as I've been playing E:D on and off for quite a while (7 years now, I believe?), and while I'm glad that folks who enjoy PvP have an open space (quite literally, heh) to play in, I am not a fan of PvP myself. For numerous reasons, but a huge part due to the fact that when I was heavy into PvP years ago in other games, I found that I was just too much of a hostile person (regardless of winning or losing) and I just did not want to be that type of person. As silly as it sounds, having the realization of "That feeling that you hate when you lose? Well, winning means that you're forcing someone else to experience that" is what finally made it "click", so to speak. It broke my core tenant of "Treat others the way you want to be treated" which is the number one rule I was raised on.

Sure, every now and then I'll participate in some FPS games especially if close friends are with me, or something like Rocket League, but I find myself not getting any enjoyment out of it. There is also quite a difference in games such as those where losing an attack just means respawning, versus a game like Elite where there is a real cost to losing (your time). What I do get enjoyment out of however is participating in a universe with other real people, humans are social creatures after all.

Anyways, I am now trying to get back into E:D these days and actually engaging with more of the various gameplay loops - I just participated in my first CG, for example!

Hello Commanders

I joined the Mobius group around four years ago and then stopped playing shortly after. I started up again a couple of weeks ago and finally did some engineering after having a bit of flying practice. Currently living at Ohm City LHS 20 noodling around doing some PP missions and CG runs to Starlace in a newly acquired Type-8.

I've seen a few commanders around at Starlace, including one getting their Panther evaporated by the internal station weapons when they got stuck in the mail slot or maybe because they crashed into another Panther. I've never used the comms panel to contact another commander so if you see CMDR Toltec Mezt and I ignore you my apologies. I'll try and work it out at some point as doing some wing stuff could be fun.

I started playing Elite in 2014 and quickly joined the Mobius group to enjoy a safe PvE environment with other players in Elite.
I took a long break due to my busy life. Now I have time again!
I started playing Elite again a few weeks ago and am hooked once more.
I have completed the application to join the MOBIUS PVE EURASIA group. I am French.
As soon as Elite maintenance is complete today, I will submit my application in-game!
I hope to meet pilots across the stars

Greetings, CMDRs.

I have been playing Elite since 1984 on my IBM PC clone as a youngster in New York. I only played Elite Dangerous on Xbox since 2014 and when Odyssey dropped, I began playing for limited sessions using GeForce Now.

Loving every moment of having space legs and ground missions, I decided to finally gift myself a gaming rig at the ripe slightly less young age of 55 and am still quite in love with this game.
