Hi Kingdeathstar I took your friendship in game, not sure which system I was in at the time. Wasn't paying that much attention was playing at silly buggers RP'ing with my none existent Kirk crew as I plied Empire space trading. I often take my FDL to Corngari RES points for PVE combat and as I am hostile with the Crimson pirate group there, things can get a little hectic at times. So if you find me around there give me a shout and we can wing up.

Hello everyone!

I have been playing Elite since the Acorn Archimedes and then Frontier on the good ol' Amiga 500. After many years of working in Computer Science Industry and a stint in AAA game development I decided to return to college and begin working towards my doctorate.

I play a lot of competitive, PVP focused video games such as League of Legends, Street Fighter & Mortal Kombat, Battlefield, AvP Classic, Chivalry, Diablo, even Freelancer when the mood strikes.

I've always played Elite to get away from assholes or life problems and get lost in an amazing universe. Elite has been a sanctuary for me since early childhood. It helped me get through my parents divorce. It helped me when we moved up to Scotland and I lived miles away from the nearest living person. It helped me through my fathers alcoholism and it helped me when I was homeless.

I play Elite to de-stress. Hi-octane, adrenaline pumping PvP is the opposite of that.

hello I am CMDR jamrocket!
I heard about this group through Blazingmaniac, and thought the group sounded good!
I have been absent from the game for a while, long story short, I managed to get an Anaconda a while back, but got killed almost as soon as I went into open-play to do trading, by a pirate. I have no idea how this happened with the amount of guns I had on the ship, but some talking and researching brought me here. I am not a good combat pilot, which is why I prefer trading, I am currently in an ASP working up to a type 9 again, hope to see some of you in game!

Like you I am not good at combat so I prefer to explore/trade. Mobius allows you to do that in relative security.

I'm Commander Kulzar, and I joined the in-game Mobius PVE Private group last week. While I often play in Open Play, I do sometimes need a break just playing the environment and simply having a good time with friendly pilots.

Hi all,

CMDR fat_gezzar here, my good friend blazing pointed me to these forums and had nothing but good things to say about them so here I am.

I have been playing Elite since the beta when I get the time to (which is not a lot lately) and absolutely love it. What I don't love though is the constant interdicting from PvP just to leave me stranded in space or dead. So PvE is for me i'm currently running around in an Asp trying to do as many missions as I can.

I'm from the south East of England and in my 40's, I have three kids and not a lot of time as I would like for gaming, I also run three web sites one for my clan one for my sons football team and a tour of duty site for BF4.
