Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I am CMDR JaffoGLIDE and I have been playing versions of Elite since the first release, around 1987 or so on my trusty Apple ][+

I’ve played most versions on most platforms, and while I haven’t seen everything…I’ve seen a lot.

I think PvP has its place in consensual full disclosure situations. And I have missed seeing others online because I only play solo thanks to griefers and trolls.

I've been playing the old Elite as well! I rarely if ever, meet someone in game. But then again I'm always out exploring things so...

A returning player myself, ny first flights were on the Commodore 64. Ive often wondered why there was never some form of the PVP flag in Elite. Personally Id have no use for it - I know I am old and slow and dont need to spend my down time gratifying someone elses need to prove themselves - but even something as cuthroat as EvE Online has highsec space for carebears such as myself to take refuge in. PvP as an opt-in mechanic would satisfy all but the most ardent griefers. As there is no opt out I have never had the urge to fly in open.
