Commander Olthuis Signing in

Hello all,
I Finally took the time to look up this board and PVE group after reading a lot of references to it in the official E:D fora.
I've never been a PVP-er, but I do like some PVE multiplayer with a nice adult group. I really did enjoy my years on a PVE server, running as a main tank in mij WoW guild and later in the PVE multiplayer matches of Mass Effect 3.
Now a long time wish of mine has come true and I even have a small part in fulfilling that wish, by participating in the crowd-funding of the reboot of one of my all-time favorite games. I never played the second installment, but I did love the original Elite very much. Been playing it a long time on our IBM PC back in the days.
I'm 39 years old, am married, got two young daughters and work in an IT company building software for banks, pension funds and other financial institutions. When I'm not working, spending time with wife and kids or playing Elite, I love to play guitar (with Rocksmith) and I teach kids how to become rescue swimmers/life guards.
