Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi all.

100% new member, have stumbled on the Mobius group whilst reading a thread on the Frontier forums from a guy offering to chaperone people in Open play. Never appealed to me, far too many "Wayne Kerrs" out there looking to ruin my game.

Then I see a post by CMDR Mobius - absolutely 100% what I'm looking for!

I'm so new to this I haven't even had a chance to fire up ED and send a group request, as I'm at work.

Live in Australia, just north of Brisbane, so most of you will be in bed while I'm at work... Originally from East Yorkshire in the UK, been here for 6 years. Played the original Elite, my Commodore 64 and my cousins BBC Micro were used to death. For years after I kept my game box set with the tape (remember loading games on a tape recorder?? LOL) and my Dark Wheel book... wish I still had them now.

Anyway, thrilled to see ED was released, I have been solo'ing for a couple of weeks and have (I think) a half decent Cobra. Looking forward to dropping in and seeing some human beings on the screen that aren't hell bent on destroying the n00b

G'day mate...its small Cosmos cause I live in Brisbane too! Western Suburbs here...currently lurking about in Beta Sculptoris...I tend too keep away from Fed space as I am regarded as hostile there...dunno why...i think from earliersversions of game i accidentally shot/pissed off a few Federal security forces...although I do sometime go into Fed space to try and improve my rep. But they generally chase me instantly.

I play pretty late, generally after 10.30pm each night till about 2-3 am. ( I might see online soon..it would be good to get a few more Aussies/Brisvegans and form up a nice little wing every now and then.
