Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi all,

First off... a big "Thank You" to Mobius for creating this group!

I have been playing ED for about 4 months now, although I typically only get about 4-6 hours a week of seat time. I am flying a Cobra with quite a few upgrades. I do mostly trading runs, with a fair amount of bounty hunting and mission running thrown in to keep it interesting.

I've been playing video games since Pong (dating myself here, yes.... I am aware). I play mostly RTS and FPS games, and I flew R/C helicopters for about 12 years when I was younger and had quicker reflexes (as well as a single man's budget... if you know what I mean)

I have been thoroughly enjoying ED solo mode, but the idea of the negative experience potential of Open Play kept me away from that environment after reading some message threads on the FD forum. I just discovered this group on the FD forum yesterday, and can't wait to meet some new friends here!

I'm not yet interested in joining a wing.... I need to learn more about that. Man... there is a lot to this game! So many different ways to play and things to do.... it's amazing!

Anyway.... I live in Arizona, USA, and unfortunately only have time to play in early morning and mid afternoon hours on the weekends. Hopefully I'll see some of you on-line and can say 'Hi'!

BTW, I already added my name to the friend list that is often referred to in CMDR's introduction message threads. I'm trying to be top of the ball.

Another old Pong player here, as well your neighbor over here in Texas!! I've been at E:D for a couple months now, currently out of work so have had loads of seat time, been through most ships. I currently have a Python that is pretty much all I use, I mostly just grind a Rare trade route that makes about 2-3 million per hour. I have an A spec Fer-De-Lance stored as a back up or if I ever get into hunting. I'm not usually the "friending" type but I am trying to broaden my horizons so if you like you can add me CMDR JamesL73. I used to stay in Solo but since discovering Mobius, I stay in there. I don't have a clue how wings work yet but wouldn't mind giving it a go. I'm sure there are several you tube tutorials on it. Take care!!
