Hi ALL!

I am CMDR Dreamchaser, I am 23 years old and originally coming from Latvia (if anyone knows such a small country).
I am new to this game. Playing only couple weeks. I was looking for PvE group, and found you guys. Looks awesome, but little quiet. :D

I have got my 2nd ship - Adder, well upgraded and almost 1KK credits in reserve. My goal is to get really big cargo ship as I am going only trade missions. Not very interested in combat as I am very, very bad at it.. another reason why I was looking for PvE group. :D
Maybe you have some recommendations which ship should I get next? My current strategy is focus on Slave missions, I have found slave trade station, and there are always slave missions in that same station and another station not far - all credits I got are just in few days (playtime few hours per day) all by grading slavery missions (BAMILENG, there are 2 stations, both have slavery missions, and you can buy slaves in last one, called PONCE DE LEON STATION. Not bad I think, check it out if interested. :)

Now I got pretty bored with that grinding and looking for some new adventure, new place I could call my home. I am heading to SOL system (~100Ly) few jumps away. Is there any of you? I would love to meet some new players, and maybe even team-up. I see there are some permit required for SOL system - I need some kind of rank with Federation, right? I am currently: none :D , So I will probably go to some near-by systems and grind reputation.

Welcome CMDR.

I'm sure you will find some commanders around Sol as it's one of those areas that attracts them. Best places to find others are Lave, Sol and Achenar as well as the locations mentioned in any Community Goals.

For combat you can start easy with NAV points, build up to Resource Extraction Sites and then when ready there Combat Zones. In Mobius you are safe from other CMDRs everywhere other than Combat Zones (see the policy link at the top of the page).

For trading, why not go for a Cobra mkIII next? A good all round ship that can haul more than your Adder but will still let you dip your toe into the world of combat.

Welcome aboard, Commander! Feel free to add your name to the In game friend list thread and make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

Fly safe! :)

Greetings and welcome commander! And yes I agree with Carabas, the Cobra is a great ship for low total trading, which is fine for a Rare Run (just look that up online) and you can ease yourself into combat against the NPCs in the game because its a pretty capable one as well. Most of your credits can be earned in trading but they have up the sums in Exploring, RES sites, BH, and CZs now and it does mix it up when you get tired of any one thing.

Stay safe and hope to see you out there (oh and head to George Lucas, Lave, Shirarta Dezhra (permit required) if you can to see other players.

Welcome commander :) I couldn't really give you any advice on trading or combat as most of my time is spent away from starports :) I can tell you though if you are, or become interested in mining, my home system 38 Lyncis has pristine reserves and a metallic ring :)
