Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi all, new to most of this (mmos, space sims, forums) recently got ED swallowed it hook line and sinker! Wary about joining a forum or group in regards to this game( if I get any more addicted my wife will kick me out!) But couldn't resist so here I am. Would love to meet cmdrs in game have always been in open play and meet only a handful of players, I think because as soon as I started me and my sidewinder went as far to the edge as we could and made a life for ourselves out there away from the hustle and bustle. Much the same in life my wife and I live in the south island of New Zealand(GMT +12) milking cows in the foot hills of the Southern Alps away from the hustle and bustle of towns. Am currently grinding to an asp will get in the next hour or so then may go exploring, hope I don't run into any player wolf packs which I hear so much about.
