Good day all,
Joined up yesterday, so thought I would just say "Hi" introduce myself a bit!
Although I enjoy the occasional joust between players, I don't want to have to worry about that whilst trying to enjoy the beautiful landscape that is Elite Dangerous, hence my preference for a PvE group!
I am generally someone that likes to try as much as I can, to experience, that is the point of life I think, and I try to get as much experience as my job allows! Hobby wise, I like gaming, Freemasonry, reading and writing (I have one book out and the second "coming soon" to use a ED term!), cars (Have an RX8), motorbikes (Have a CBR600), music (I played drums from the age of 11-18 constantly (played in most school productions), then switched to guitar and didn't do very well! now doing better at the violin), Martial arts (I have done Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Kendo and Iaido though the last two were the ones I really enjoyed), I also spent quite a bit of time doing archery when I was younger.
I would definitely say I was a "Jack of all trades and master of none"!
Sadly There is still so much more I would like to try but I work at sea as a Merchant Navy captain and so spend a fair bit of time away (6 months out of a year doing two weeks on/off) and with the wife and house commitments I don't tend to get to try as much as I would like, especially now that ED is as far along as it is now! I am looking forward to seeing you all in game, and have just looked back at how much waffle I have written!
