Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Ahoy there Commanders. Relatively new to this forum but have been a member of Mobius for a few months. Elite on the C64 blew my mind as a 19 year old. Until now the nearest thing to that original sense of wonder and scale has been EvE for me. I have never liked the PvP element of that game much and hope to see Elite Dangerous develop some good cooperative content. So far I am enjoying Elite:Dangerous though somewhat frustrated at being online yet totally isolated. I think Ive managed to hail one other CMDR so far. If you see me open hailing frequencies. Currently loitering around Zaonce but interested in joining other players for the faction warfare.

Space is a big place, so you may not see commanders in the same system as you. Several folks use message threads or PM's here, or in game chat to designate places to meet up for wing activities.

And... if you add your name to the 'in game friends list' that Boxcar mentioned, you'll be able to see many other Mobius members locations on the galaxy map and can team up from there.

@Boxcar: feel free to see it as a race, buddy. But you should know that I don't. You might not find it this easy to win if I did.

I took quite a few months break from the game for various reasons. Started playing again in the last couple of days since I was off work with a cold. I really enjoyed meeting up with a couple of other CMDRs at a CE in Graill. Massive thanks for the help I received today. Hope to hang around a bit since I feel the game has improved quite a bit since I first looked at it.
