CMDR Sylveria

Hello Everyone!
My name is Sylveria (CMDR Sylveria in game) and I've been playing games since the original pen-and-paper D&D series- computer games since the Commodore 64. I started playing Elite from the original C64 version, and mainly enjoy RPG/Open World type games. I've participated in the forum discussions on Frontier but didn't really know there was such a massive PvE group so I decided to join and help get involved.
My personal view is that Elite Dangerous needs to be opened up completely with the option for solo only- but with one important caveat- the ability to flag oneself on/off for PvP related activities so it's a choice and not mandatory just because you decide to play in Open. (This will always be my position) I have yet to try "group" related activities in ED, but mainly play solo. I don't play Open because I really don't want to deal with sociopaths who didn't get held enough as children (or maybe held too much) or whatever their issue is with humanity which causes them to grief others in an online video game. I've also played EVE Online, and my space MMO experience actually began with Earth & Beyond before EA totally screwed over Westwood (as EA tends to do with almost any game they get their hands on) and I actually enjoyed Earth & Beyond before it closed the doors.
