Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Good morning, Commanders.

I have been playing Elite Dangerous in OpenPlay since it's public release back in 2014. I've dabbled in everything from trade to PvE fights in RESes. A few weeks back, I was lucky enough to cash out on the high availability of Diso Corn and I have now taken up on exploring, because I can finally afford a proper ship, aka, the Diamondback Explorer. I am currently on my way to the core and after the drama surrounding Sagittarius A and the griefers there, I don't feel like going there in Open anymore, especially not without weapons and shields.

Someone at Reddit pointed me towards Mobius and it looks like a great concept.

I can only play maybe two or three hours per week, often less, so progress is slow - however, I hope to meet some of you at the core sometime in October or so and I also hope that I'll be back in time for Horizon in January

Anyways, welcome and I am sure you will find a lot of other explorers here as well as a few others that are a little crazy. You can tell who they are here, they are labelled as MODERATORS. So when you see them, just smile and shake hands. They are harmless, but they can get a bit bossy. For instance, Johnluke will soon be here to tell you where to find all sorts of things like the Team Speak server and such. Just nod and smile.

The rest of us are normal.

Thanks for the welcome! I have already applied ingame for membership - although it is highly likely that I won't get around to playing again before saturday.

Yeah, well, crazy explorers... I don't know of any sane people that think they can improve their eBook reading time by having to fiddle with supercruise or planet targeting every few seconds

Welcome to Mobius! There are several others doing exploration trips right now, including myself.

Feel free to add your name to the In game friend list thread and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders. Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.
