I like doing PVE and that is much more fun if you have some buddies to accompany you. This also allows me to do harder missions earlier since I have some guys who can back me up

You'll find plenty of folks here who are willing to back you up.
Be sure to check out the
policy page here, if you haven't yet, and feel free to add your name to the
in game friend list so that backup is easier to find.
Also, there is a
Teamspeak page that makes contacting other commanders that much easier.
