There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

I haven't tried mining much yet!
Need to slap together a ship to do just that

Contemplating the same myself. I have done a bit of mining before for a cg.
And with prospectors and collectors it's rather relaxing and can be quite beautiful way to kill a few hours.

Until the limpets go bonkers and starts suiciding ...
