Hello CMDR's,

I've been playing this incredible game for 3 months now and I seem to lean toward PVE although I do like to hone my defensive and offensive skills against the AI ships in the various zones made for that as well as getting interdicted ALL THE TIME! :P

I've been working out of Andlit doing some Mining, Cargo Runs, and just trying to stay out of trouble with the Feds. My buddy, Really Clueless, and I joined last night and promptly "tried" to get into TeamSpeak and found some dude named "Man In Between" putting the binders on our Efforts. Really got in ok but I couldn't get around that pop up message. I noticed some odd TS servers on my list too that promptly got deleted.

We'll see you in the Cold Dark,

Greetings and welcome to Mobius, Commander Reo Creed

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Discord (voice and text chat) servers for supporters of Mobius, as well as our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

Welcome to the group, commander Reo Creed.

I'm not sure what to think about your TS session. It sounds very odd to me. I usually join the Mobius TS server, jump in the room of my choice (based on what I'm doing at the time) and chat with other like-minded souls.

Hopefully you have better results next time. ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome!

If you search on "teamspeak Man in the middle attack" you'll see the message I'm getting. Tried it some more today .. same ding..

My buddy was not so lucky. He got in ok to the server but ended up with some kind of virus. He's trying to figure it out now. Of course, I'm not saying it came from your TS3 server.. Stuff happens.

I'll look for some other TS3 servers you have. I think I saw a list somewhere here.

I'm doing scans on my Game machine as I type.

Keep the Lasers on Frequency,

Thanks JohnLuke,

I was tallking to a Twitcher streaming right now and they started using Discord instead of TS3..(?)..

After I do my Virus checks here I'll give it another go.

The cure, so they say, Is to try to connect to the server with out the subnet address. I'll try it if it fails the first time.

I was on TS again last night, and have had no problems at all with it. I don't know why it's being problematic for you. :(

I fire up the TS client from my desktop, select my Mobius bookmark, and am good to go. Easy peasy.

Got in fine using the trick stated on Bing.. using the IP of the TS server plus the Subnet address. Like this: 185.11.180.9:9988

So.. I'll see ya in there. Going mining later if I can find some mining requests in the Bulletin Board.

Just being pedantic, but that is not the proper term, subnet. You are referring to the Port. A subnet is an entirely different creature and is a determination of the number of IP addresses in a given network. The port is the is akin to the apartment number in a building.

TS used to have a separate entry for the Port in previous iterations. Now it is expected on the same line as the IP address in the format you show above.
