HI folks CMDR Buster Bloodvessel here.

Just joined and wanted to say a quick "Hello".
Am an older player (61) and not really into the macho "I beat you" stuff so I thought I would give Mobius group a try.
I am not a noob/novice and have Elite Ranking in Trade & Combat (all kills are NPC kills, and Elite Rank is conferred purely on numbers and not skill). I am a rubbish pilot but I get by OK space trucking.
Assets of about 2.125 Bn now and waiting to see what's new in Release 2.1.
I have not bothered with Exploring (only Trailblazer rank) as it bores me rigid, as does Mario-Karts in space (SRV's on dusty/ICY planets).
CQC/Arena...NOPE! not interested at all.

I always respond to hails if it is at all possible (not in the grip of Jump activity), so if you see me please do say hello.
I am usually in or Around GQ-Virginis or Tepertsi grinding out credits in my Cutter(s) or having NPC-Pirate kill fun at nav beacons or CZ's etc.

Hope to meet some of you out in the black.

Welcome to the group.
There are one or two semi-official greeters who will point you in the right direction regarding the friend list etc, but for now I'll just say hello.
I'm a slightly older (I won't say more mature!) player than you (64) and got to Elite on my BBC Micro in '84.
Not reached that rank in any category here yet, my best is in exploring, I'm 38% towards next rank, which I believe will be Elite.
Feel free to add me as a friend in game, although I'm on a trip out into the unknown at the moment. There's a lot more to find and see since Horizons was added. Just today I came across a crashed Nav beacon on an icy plant 800 light years from Sol.
