Hi from Croydon UK

Boy, I remember playing elite on my 128k spectrum. Frontier on my amiga was a treat but then nothing new for sooooo long . .. I turn 50 this year but the wait has been well worth it!
I started a clean save friday, farmed res sites in an eagle till I could afford the makings of a decent vulture then headed to a cg combat zone where I've been tearing it up all weekend.
Have my vulture just how I like it, 9,000,000 in the bank and half way through expert combat rank, a good weekends work!
pvp has never appealed to me but this group seems to offer all the benefits without the idiots, happy days
Look forward to seeing you out there commanders

Greetings and welcome to Mobius, Commander Etam Yaj.

Sounds like you are having fun with your clean save. The Vulture is a beast!

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius. We have our own Discord (voice and text chat) servers for supporters of Mobius, as well as our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

Cheers Guys, I shall definately look into picking up a headset and trying out teamspeak. I think not being able to form wings with npcs has been my only real dissapointment with the game, hell, wing commander managed it . . .
Cmdr Kharma, I never realised Judas Priest played Croydon, I was a child of the Croydon Underground, probably an 80's successor to the Greyhound? along with the Cartoon!
Good hunting Fella's

Silver jubilee year, I was 10, bought my first vinyl album with me paper round money, Rainbow Rising, took a lot of saving!
Thanks for the nostalgia trip. . . .

I remember buying Rainbow Rising and rushing home to play it on my newly built Wharfdale E75s and cranking it with a few mates.....

Not knowing what to expect as there were no previews or net or anything......

We all loved it..........

Saw Rainbow about 6 times all in all I *think*.......

Ahhhhhhhhh......

Ritchie is sposed to be reforming it for a couple of gigs this year....No original members though.....

I think he should go back to Purple......Just let Gillan nut him and get it over with......

:D
