Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi everybody,

I'm Cmdr Tottori hailing from Germany...joined ED right from the beginning though not as a backer...loved it ever since. Became a father a couple of years ago...what a wonderful, challenging and new experience!!! BUT now I hardly play at all. How do you older guys manage family, children & girlfriend and still got time to drift away in space??? Especially my girlfriend thinks it's a waste of time and I loose track of time...which is true to some degree.

And with the new AI since 2.1, ED became more challenging and time consuming...got killed twice by a more agile and smarter AI pirate python... made me almost delete the game because of insufficient rebuy funds but I worked hard and kept fighting back in my trusty python...now working my way up to the Tradaconda.

I like the idea of Möbius/ Mobius enjoying the game together with like-minded people instead of taking advantage of others.

Anyway thank you guys for the effort in creating this website and hopefully see any of you out there in the void...eventually...

Yups it's hard to make it in computer life with that ugly real life going on. Got 3 kids and a wife that doesn't game as well.

Though we do have a fairytale marriage. There's a witch on my couch every day. Saying you game too much.

Well I guess doing 40-50 hrs in E:D at the beginning was a bit too much anyways.

I kinda have my little handicaps going for me which make me unable to work at the moment so I'm housewife errr sorry got a "I want to break free" Freddy Mercury vision now.

In between errands I do my gaming. So off and on at different times. The Netherlands here.

RL can certainly get in the way of a good gaming session. Glad you are able to carve out some time to play E-D, and have found our group!
