Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Aloha! After playing the beta and short period after the release I had to stop for some real-life stuff. I restarted a few weeks ago and "experienced" the E:D Horizons changes.
Things (AI) are changing and that's okay, but after being attacked and killed several times by other players without any warning and no obvious reasons, i've been quite frustated. I've heard of Mobius by chance and joined 2 days ago. Felt great not to fear other players. .... until today... I've been neutral in a conflict zone, flying around, scanning some stuff for the engineers. I decided to leave, set course to a high energy fsd wake 11 kms away. Right before reaching it, a neutral player appeared behind me on my (apart from that) empty scanner and shot my ship into pieces within seconds and without any warning.
Maybe anyone can give me a reason not to switch to solo-play....

I'm sorry to hear that you have had a less than pleasant experience since joining the group, whilst very rare (really vary rare) this does happen occasionally, and the players concerned are quickly booted from the group when we get reports.

You can report the offending player by sending a PM to the Admin team or by using the 'Contact Us' form at the bottom of the main page, if you have any screen shots or video that would be ideal, but often a name just adds to the weight of evidence.

I can assure that there are many good reasons to play in Mobius, and as I have said these incidents are very rare.

and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Was the neutral player another real life player, or was it AI? Real life players have CMDR + name, whereas AI just have the name without CMDR.

AI players will still interdict you every so often, even in private groups. AI will also interdict you in Solo.

I know, I know, Myrm. It has been a real life player (empty square/triangle ) and not a NPC. I made a screenshot of the "you've been killed by"-screen and in front of his name is a "CMDR".

And yes EDH is real life too, but some thing are more important, even if it's hard to believe.

1 1/2 weeks later I'm quite happy again. I have met in-game some nice commanders and I had some great fun bounty-hunting as part of a wing at a RES.
